  • Why UNE?
  • I grew up coming to Maine every summer to my grandparents lake house and I loved it here, and so my senior year of high school I decided to tour UNE and I really loved it and Ithought it was such a beautiful campus. And it honestly has an amazing nursing program, and I have always heard good things about it.
  • Whats some advice you can give to new students?
  • Find a good balance between your social life and school work, that is one thing I really struggled with when I first got here, especially if you have a harder major. Make sure you keep  your week days for studying and school and have fun on the weekends, but really get that school life social life balance.
  • What does a typical day look like for you?
  • It depends on the day for me, I have my clinicals so I have one day off a week, and the other I am at the hospital. And I have classes Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • What does an off day look like for you?
  • Just studying and catching up on sleep.

Make sure to find a good balance between your school work and social life

  • Why UNE?
  • I thought that the campus was really pretty and their Physcoligy Pro
  • gram is really good.
  • Whats some advice you can give to new students?
  • I would say to be engaged and be involved in extracurriculars and if you can do a sport, do a sport. But try to be a part of the community on campus because it’ll help a lot.
  • What does a typical day look like for you?
  • I am one of the lacrosse managers so I go to their practices. I have an offcamous job at the YMCA. And then I have 5 classes going on right now.
  • What does an off day look like for you?
  • Just catching up on sleep and doing homework.

Be engaged and try and be a part of the community!
