Job Description

(Journal 21)

Questions we would ask:

  • Name a time where you used a connection to get a result you wanted in life?
  • How would you handle adversity if a customer is being hesitant with the product?
  • How will you reach multiple people and spread news about our product?

Moments showing my value:

  • As a sophomore in high school, I decided I wanted to pursue real estate and become an agent, so I spent the next two years reaching out to my connections and making moves in order to get my real estate license, I interned with a company and gained valuable knowledge regarding all real estate aspects. And they eventually helped me reach my goal and I got my license to practice.
  • As a freshman in college, I was unsure with how I would fit into the roles on the football team, but after realizing there is opportunity to grow and my coach lead me in the right direction regarding my training, I was able to perform and exceed my expectations and reach my goals, was able to start for the team and be a key contributor for the teams success.
  • As a student in high school, I was never the smartest or most determined, but going into college, I realized that if I didn’t try or didn’t do my best then I would never be able to reach my potential and my goals in life. So I buckled down and worked hard to show everyone who doubted me that I was capable of great things and was able to get good grades.

Questions a committee might ask:

  • What value would you bring to our team and our teams success?
  • What would you considered your greatest weakness?
  • How would you describe your work ethic towards school and work?

Our job description is a little strange to me, a couple things could be said differently. Our major and minor responsibilities could use work and updated to include more information and more descriptive words to help them understand. I believe our qualifications need to be updated and reworked to sound more informative as well.

Reflection on project:

The project was fairly simple and straight forward. The goofy dumplings team was able to collaborate and work easily on completing the project necessities. We were able to delegate and determine which group member would do what work on the job description and we were able to determine the best way of going about the whole project. Each member of our group showed up to each class and were engaged and spoke up when needed. Regarding the drafting of our questions for our interview, we all took initiative finding questions to ask the candidates. And beginning the interview process, our questions were asked precisely and with confidence. The interviewees were also able to answer our questions with ease. The whole process went smooth and I would love to continue doing stuff along the same lines.
