Questions: What’s your major and when do you graduate? Where do you live? Do you partake in any extracurriculars? What is some advice that you can offer new students that are just starting college?

Hey everyone! My name is Brady Feola.

I am an Environmental Science major from Bellingham, Massachusetts. I graduate in 2025. Being on the football team, it can be hard to keep up with all of my school work. Some advice I would give to student athletes as well as students in general is to get your work done as soon as possible. It allows you to have extra free time to have fun and leaves less of an opportunity for school to create stress. Another piece of advice is to be outgoing. Putting yourself out there in class, the dining hall, school events, and more can create perfect opportunities to make new friends and connections that will help you navigate through college as well as life. One last piece of advice is to just stay positive. Not everything will always go your way, but having a good attitude and mindset will allow you to push through any obstacles in your way.

Hello, I’m Robert Cielakie. I live in Lowell, Massachusetts. I play football for the University of New England, I play on the defensive line. I am a Resident Advisor in Siena Hall. I’m majoring in Medical Biology and expected to graduate in 2025. My advice to all young students is to use the resources around you; whether that is meeting with professors after hours to get extra help on assignments, heading over to SASC to get help on assignments you don’t understand, using our library resources which contain a lot of valuable knowledge, or meeting with classmates to study on school work together! Another tip I can give you is to budget time out of your week to study so studying doesn’t feel like a chore and so you aren’t frantically trying to study in one night. Hope I was able to help provide some useful information. Goodluck!
